How it works

Cold laser therapy uses a combination of infrared super luminous light and low level laser diodes. The combination of laser and LEDs causes an increase in cellular respiration. This increased cellular activity means increased healing speed, decrease in inflammation and a decrease in overall pain levels. Some of the conditions treated include:

What does a treatment look like?

After an assessment by one of our doctors, you will be given a care plan using clinically proven protocols based on your condition. Each treatment will generally last between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on what condition is being treated. Treatments should not cause an increase in pain and our staff will do our best to make sure you are comfortable for the duration of your care.

Development

The Bioflex laser therapy system was developed by Dr. Kahn M.D. a vascular surgeon from Toronto. Each Bioflex laser therapy system is engineered and produced here in Canada to ensure the highest of quality. Unlike many other laser therapy systems, all Bioflex systems are approved by Health Canada and the FDA which ensures the highest standards are met.
